BMW recently unveiled its 5th generation BMW 7-series cars in India. The all new 7 series will be available in 3 models – 730Ld, 740Li and 750Li. While the 750Li will be out in January itself, the other two models will be introduced into the market sometime in the middle of 2009. The BMW 750Li is expected to be priced around Rs.93.3 lakh. The 7 series has been quite successful in India, with the company selling 311 units of it in 2008 out of its total sale of 2,908 units and 251 units in 2007. The new series comes with a host of interesting features such as a Dynamic Damper Control along with Driving Control, Integral Active Steering and a Head-up Display and Night vision.
BMW will also soon launch its much awaited SUV, the BMW X6, in India. The X6 will be priced between Rs.65 lakh and Rs.70 lakh, and will be powered by a 3-litre diesel engine and a 5-litre petrol engine.
