Škoda’s Superhatch Fabia wins the “Car of the Year” award at the CNBC TV 18 Overdrive awards ‘09 held at Taj Lands End, on the 9th of January in Mumbai. The Fabia was chosen for this coveted award for offering a perfect blend of style, performance, technology, safety & space offered by no other hatchback on Indian roads. The other nominations for this award were Maruti Suzuki A Star, Tata Indica Vista, Swift Dzire, Audi A4, Fiat Linea, Honda Accord, Honda City, Mercedez Benz C Class, Toyota Corolla Altis & the VW Jetta. The Superhatch Fabia, known for the practicality along with roominess it offers, also bagged the award for Best Compact Car of the year.
The award was presented to Mr. Kuehl, Board Member, Sales and Marketing, SkodaAuto India and Mr. Karsten Bogun, MD, Finance, SkodaAuto India.
