Maruti Suzuki India Ltd (MSIL), the countrys largest passenger car manufacturer, is in talks with the Haryana government for acquiring land for setting up a crash test facility. Currently, we are sending our vehicles to France for crash testing which not only involves cost but is time consuming too and in turn may lead to delay in launches, said MM Singh, managing executive officer (production), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd, on the sidelines of the CII 7th Manufacturing Summit 2008.
